Drunk Driver Crashes into Guard Rail in Noyac: Police
The accident took place at the intersection of Noyac Road and Bay Avenue, police said.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY - A Greenport man was charged with driving while intoxicated Saturday after he crashed into a guard rail in Noyac, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, Jesse Elliot, 29, was arrested at 2:17 a.m. at the intersection of Noyac Road and Bay Avenue, where he'd been in the automobile accident.
Authorities later learned that Elliott struck a guard rail while in an intoxicated condition, police said. He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and moving from lane unsafely, a traffic infraction, police said.

Elliot was transported to the Southampton Town Police headquarters for processing and held for morning arraignment, police said.
