On Earth Day, Hug A Horse, Hug A Tree in Bridgehampton
The event will take place at Amaryllis Farm Equine Rescue in Bridgehampton.

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY - Earth Day's coming up on Friday and to celebrate all creatures great and small, the public is invited to the "Hug A Horse, Hug A Tree Day" at the Amaryllis Farm Equine Rescue's Sancturary in Bridgehampton.
The event takes place from noon to 2 p.m. at the Sanctuary grounds, located at 864 Lumber Lane in Bridgehampton.
Admission will be half price — $10 per adult and $5 per child.

In addition, visitors can make a $20 contribution to help plant an "epic" tree.
The day will include guided educational tours of the sanctuary and stories of the rescued horses each hour.

"This is meant to be a peaceful, restorative event," organizers said, with a "horse-specific" event to follow on Saturday, April 23.
