Homeless Man Busted After Cell Phone Store Heist: Police
The man was nabbed after trying to sell one of the cell phones, police said.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY - A homeless man was busted on Tuesday after a cell phone store heist in Hampton Bays, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, on Tuesday, Alejandro Reyes, 30, was arrested and charged with burglary in the third degree, a felony, criminal possession of stolen property in the first degree, a felony, and criminal mischief in the third degree, a felony.
The charges, police said, stemmed from a month-long investigation of a burglary that occurred in February at Cypersitio Cell Phone Store, located on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.

Reyes was charged with the crimes after detectives found Reyes attempting to sell one of the stolen cell phones, police said.
Additionally, Reyes swiped several other items including a hoverboard, a computer hard drive, and several cell phones, police said.

Reyes was processed at Southampton Town Police headquarters and held for morning arraignment; he was sent to Suffolk County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 bail, police said.
