Jewel Thief Nabbed in Southampton Village: Police
The woman allegedly stole $3,700 worth of jewelry from a Meeting House Lane home, police said.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY - A woman was cuffed on Thursday after she allegedly stole jewelry from a Southampton Village home, police said.
According to Southampton Village Police, Erica Wetanson, 52, was arrested at 3 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, a felony.
Wetanson was alleged to have possessed jewelry valued at approximately $3,700 that had been reported stolen from a residence on Meeting House Lane on April 27, police said.

She was processed and released after posting $2,500 bail, police said.
