Man Busted for Drunk Driving in Riverside: Police

SOUTHAMPTON, NY: A Riverhead man was cuffed after he was caught driving drunk on St. Patrick's Day, police said.

According to New York State Police, Christian J. Carrano, 38, of Riverhead was arrested on March 17 following a vehicle and traffic stop on County Road 104, south of Pine Street, for a violation.

An investigation and administration of standardized field sobriety tests revealed Carrano to be intoxicated, police said. He is slated to appear at Southampton Town Justice Court on March 30 at 9 a.m., police said.
