Man Caught With Sedatives, Marijuana, and a Scale: Police
The man was had an outstanding bench warrant for failure to pay a fine, police said.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY - A Flanders man was arrested and after he was found with sedatives, marijuana, and a scale, police said.
According to Southampton Village Police, the man, 29, was arrested on February 19 at 4:08 p.m. and found to be in possession of Alprazolam, a scale, and a quantity of marijuana, police said.
He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors, as well as unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

In addition, there was an outstanding bench warrant out of Southampton Town Justice Court for his failure to pay a fine, police said.
He was processed and turned over to Southampton Town Police for further processing, police said.
