Remsenburg Man Busted for DWI Friday in Speonk: Police

The driver was nabbed on North Phillips Avenue, police said.

SPEONK, NY - A Remsenburg man was busted for driving drunk early Saturday, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, Michael Reith, 28, was arrested at 1:14 a.m. on North Phillips Avenue in Speonk after he was stopped for failing to maintain his lane and was found to be intoxicated.

Reith was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, as well as failing to use his designated lane, a traffic infraction, police said.

He was transported to Southampton Town Police Headquarters for processing and held for morning arraignment, police said.
