Shoreham Man Busted for Driving Drunk in North Haven: Police
The driver was stopped for a broken windshield, police said.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY: A Shoreham man was cuffed Thursday after he was caught driving drunk in North Haven, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, Richard King, 56, of Shoreham was arrested at 8:50 p.m. on Short Beach Road after he was seen driving a 2012 Chevrolet van with a broken windshield and a headlight out.
After a police investigation, it was determined that King was intoxicated, police said.

He was arrested, charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and a broken windshield and non-working headlight, violations, police said.
King was transported to Southampton Town Police headquarters for processing and held for morning arraignment, police said.
