Southampton Man Leads Cops on Foot Chase: Police

The man was seen violating his parole, police said.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY - A Southampton man was cuffed after he led officers on a brief foot chase, police said.

According to Southampton Village Police, the man, 29, was arrested at 11:46 p.m. on February 20 and charged with obstructing governmental administration in the second degree and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.

He led officers on the chase after he was observed in violation of his parole, police said.
