Trey Songz Claims Assistant Principal Knew Lyrics to Song Before Appearing in Music Video
The assistant principal previously said she did not know the contents or lyrics of the song before she agreed to be in the video.

Trey Songz, the rapper in the music video ”Best Friends”, which Southampton High School Assistant Principal Esther Adler-O’Keefe made a brief appearance in, recently said that she knew the lyrics to the song before she agreed to be in the video.
After the video, which contains explicit language and content, was posted on YouTube last month Adler-O’Keefe told 27east that she was unaware of the “content, lyrics, and title of the video and song” when she agreed to be in it.
“Had I known of such content or lyrics, I certainly would not have participated in any fashion. I find the lyrics and content of the music video vulgar, offensive, and demeaning,” she told 27east.

However, while leaving a West Hollywood club on Friday, Trey Songz told TMZ that while he felt bad that Adler-O’Keefe had been reassigned to new duties at the high school, that “she had heard the song a million times.”
He also said that he wants to reach out to her and that he believes she didn’t do anything wrong.
