Two Nabbed in Riverside Drug Bust: Police

RIVERSIDE, NY - Two RIverhead residents were nabbed in a drug bust on Tuesday, police said.

According to New York State Police, an effort to combat illegal activities in the Riverside area led to the arrest of Maurice Pittman, 37, and Heather Lange, 27.

The pair were busted in the parking lot of the Budget Host Inn on Lake Avenue, police said.

Pittman was charged with two counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third and fourth degee, felonies, and Lange was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, police said.
