Unlicensed Man Charged with Speeding, DWI in Water Mill: Police

WATER MILL, NY - A unlicensed Noyac man was busted Sunday for driving drunk on Head of Pond Road, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, Kory Macwhinnie, 28, found to be intoxicated after being stopped for speeding.

Macwhinnie was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, a felony, speed in zone, a traffic infraction, and failure to comply with a lawful order, a traffic infraction, police said. Macwhinnie was transported to Southampton Town Police headquarters for arrest processing and held for morning arraignment, police said.
