Woman Caught Making 'Fraudulent' Returns, Pocketing Cash at Bridgehampton K-Mart: Police

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY - An East Hampton woman was busted Wednesday night after she made "fraudulent" returns to K-Mart in Bridgehampton and kept the money, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, Susan M. Morales, 56, of East Hampton for was arrested at 8:54 p.m. and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. She was arrested at the scene, transported to Southampton Town police headquarters for processing, and released on an appearance ticket, police said.
