Voter's Guide: Syosset School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for Tuesday's vote.

Residents in the Syosset School District will vote on the $215,585,452 proposed budget for the 2015-16 school year on Tuesday, May 19.
The proposal calls for a 1.34 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a .91 percent tax levy increase, which is within the state’s tax cap.
Six candidates are vying for three open seats on the Syosset Board of Education.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Robbins Lane Elementary School, H.B. Thompson Middle School and Syosset High School. Click here to find out where you vote based on where you live.
