Emma Clark Library has a new series of classes geared towards parents and caregivers of toddlers online on Wednesdays in October from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m, presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension. You’ll want to be sure to register for these informative sessions on various topics:
October 7 – Toddler Development and Discipline
Toddlers are becoming more independent and may start to say “no” much more. Understand your toddler’s thought process and learn how to cope with temper tantrums and sibling rivalry. Register here
October 14 – Sleep Issues
Are naps really necessary and how many hours should my toddler sleep each night? Learn how to make nap time and bedtime into pleasurable experiences. Register here
October 21 – Eating Behavior
How much are toddlers expected to eat? How can I get my toddler to eat what I cook? Are snacks okay? Learn how to make mealtimes pleasant at the family table. Register here
October 28 – Toilet Training
When are toddlers able to use the potty and say good-bye to diapers? Learn about readiness cues and how to make this process as stress-free as possible. Register here
