Body Found In Hudson River Near La Marina, Police Say

A man was found dead Saturday in the Hudson River near Inwood Hill Park.

INWOOD, NY — A man's body was pulled from the Hudson River in waters near Inwood waterfront restaurant La Marina.

The body of a 34-year-old man, who has not been identified, was spotted in the river near Dyckman Street around 11:20 a.m. Saturday, police told Patch. The NYPD Harbor Unit recovered the body and brought it onto a nearby pier, police told Patch.

EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene, police told Patch. The city medical examiner's office will investigate the man's official cause of death, police said.
