Police: Hampton Bays Man Arrested on DWI Charge, Driving With Suspended License
The arrest was made on Sunday morning.

A Hampton Bays man was arrested on a DWI charge and driving with a suspended license in Hampton Bays early Sunday morning, according to Southampton Town Police.
Pedro Huerta, 25, was arrested on Montauk Highway West in Hampton Bays at 1:30 a.m. after he was stopped for a traffic infraction, police said.
A check of The New York State Department of Motor of Vehicles Computer revealed that Huerta’s license was suspended, according to police.

Additionally, he was found to be intoxicated and charged with driving while intoxicated and first degree aggravated unlicensed operation, police said.
Huerta was processed at Southampton Town Police Headquarters and held overnight, according to police.

He was arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11.
