Westhampton Beach Elementary School students participated in several activities celebrating Earth Day on April 30.
While wearing Earth Day-themed t-shirts, students created art projects using recycled items, enjoyed a reading of the Lorax by the Westhampton Beach High School Cure Club, and brought garbage-free lunches to school.
In addition, in order to further celebrate Earth, over the next two weeks, students will be donating to the 10th annual Coins for Creatures fundraiser.
