Westhampton Beach Wrestling Team Raises Money For Lustgarten Foundation

The team raised over $700 for the foundation.

The Westhampton Beach High School varsity wrestling team raised $750 for the Lustgarten Foundation, which supports Pancreatic Cancer research.

The team gathered the funds through t-shirt sales at the Cory Hubbard Duals on Saturday, Jan. 3.

The money will be donated in the name of Jina Tanzmam, the mother of wrestlers Alex and Matt Tanzman who passed away from Pancreatic Cancer in 2013.

This is the third year that the team has raised money through the sale of their purple t-shirts, which adorn the initials, “JT” on the sleeve.
