Westchester DA To Investigate Cuomo Sexual Harassment Claims
Some of the alleged conduct took place in Westchester, DA Miriam Rocah said.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Westchester County District Attorney Miriam Rocah said her office will be investigating Gov. Andrew Cuomo's conduct in light of state Attorney General Letitia James's report on alleged sexual harassment by the governor.
Rocah issued a statement that said:
Yesterday our Office became aware of the final independent report from Attorney General Letitia James' Office regarding Governor Andrew Cuomo's conduct. As some of the Governor's conduct described in the report occurred in Westchester County, we have formally requested investigative materials obtained by the AG's Office. As this is an ongoing investigation, we will not comment further at this time.
Rocah requested investigative materials related to a New York State Police trooper mentioned in James's report in addition to any other material from complainants or witnesses who reported conduct by Cuomo that happened in Westchester County, the Journal News reported.

The attorney general's report said the state trooper initially worked at the governor's Mount Kisco residence but was moved in April 2019 to a role on the governor's travel team, serving as his driver on occasion.
According to the report, the minimum experience requirement to serve in the Protective Services Unit, which is a unit of the NYSP in charge of protecting the governor, had been changed from three years to two to accommodate the trooper's transfer.

The trooper complained about Cuomo making offensive comments and physically touching her. The report said that some of what the trooper claimed was corroborated by others, either by direct observation or by being told about it afterward by the trooper herself.
James's report said that, during his testimony, Cuomo recalled hugging the trooper and said that "he may have kissed her on the cheek at a Christmas party."
However, he said that he never purposely touched her on her stomach or run his fingers down her back.
