Man Carrying $3K In Paper Bag Robbed On Williamsburg Street, Police Say
An armed man snatched a brown paper bag with $3,000 inside it near South Third Street and Driggs Avenue on Thursday, police said.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — A man carrying $3,000 in a brown paper bag on a Williamsburg street was robbed in broad daylight last week, said police.
The 46-year-old man was standing outside his car near South Third Street and Driggs Avenue around 2 p.m. Thursday when two men approached and demanded he hand over the cash, said police.
“Give me all the money,” said one of the robbers as he pointed a silver and black gun at his victim, according to police.

The armed man grabbed the paper bag, then he and his partner jumped into a red Chrysler van and sped away, said police.
Video surveillance captured images of two suspects, one of whom can be seen carrying a brown paper bag, walking down the street.

Police describe one suspect as a six-foot-tall man with brown eyes and short black hair, last seen wearing black sneakers, red shorts, a black t-shirt and a black hat.
The second suspect stands about five-foot-nine, weighs 185 pounds and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark colored jeans and white sneakers, police said.
