Williamsburg Fire Engulfs 2-Story Building On Manhattan Avenue
Firefighters battled a two-alarm blaze in a building along Manhattan Avenue on Thursday night.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Firefighters rushed to put out a fire that engulfed a two-story building along Manhattan Avenue on Thursday night, according to the FDNY. The blaze broke out just after 6 p.m. at 92 Manhattan Ave. near Boerum Street, a block from Sternberg Park, an FDNY spokeswoman said.
More than 100 firefighters were still trying to extinguish the flames on the first and second floors of the building around an hour later, the spokeswoman said. No injuries had been reported at that time.

The fire ran through two alarms before it was declared "under control" around 7:30 p.m., the FDNY said on Twitter.
The ground floor of the building that caught fire is occupied by a bodega called Lantigua's Deli Market, according to Google Maps. The second floor is apparently an apartment.
