Annual Lakeland District Art Show at JV Mall Opens

It was a night to celebrate music and art in the Lakeland Central School District as the 31st annual Lakeland Week of the Arts kicked off Monday night (May 9) at Jefferson Valley Mall.

The TJ Pride Singers from Thoma Jefferson Elementary School were joined by high school singers at the opening ceremony held in the center court of the mall.

Student artists were also on hand during the evening demonstrating the wide variety of art skills and techniques they use to create the outstanding art on display.

For the first time, the artwork will be on display for two weeks through May 22.
