Coronavirus: Yorktown To Start Online Meetings
Town and business officials are also forming a task force to focus on jump-starting the local economy.
YORKTOWN, NY — Yorktown town officials are preparing to implement State approved mechanisms, such as Zoom, to allow for town boards to begin meeting next month, Supervisor Matt Slater said in his Wednesday update on the new coronavirus update.
Town Clerk Quast and her staff are leading the charge to get that up and running, he said.
In addition, he has begun forming a task force to focus on jump-starting the local economy.

"We had a very productive conversation this morning with both the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce and Yorktown Small Business Association," he said.
Slater also asked all residents to sign the Take-Out-Pledge and support local restaurants/eateries which can be found on the Town’s website.
