Dutchess County Man Accused Of Stealing Jeep
The Christmas Day arrest yielded a felony charge.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Dutchess County man was accused of stealing a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Yorktown police said Pjeter Zef Ljucovic, 27, of Millbrook, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony.
Around 3:45 p.m. Friday, a Yorktown officer was advised of a possible stolen vehicle going north on the Taconic State Parkway.

The officer located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on the parkway in the vicinity of Crompond Road.
Ljucovic was identified as the driver, and following an investigation, it was determined he was in possession of the stolen 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, police said.

He was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.
Ljucovic was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court Jan. 14.
