Employee Accused Of Stealing From Lowes

Police said the Cortlandt Manor man took more than $4,000 in merchandise from the store.

YORKTOWN, NY — Police accused an employee of Lowe's of stealing from the store. Yorktown police said Dennis C. Santiago, 50, of Cortlandt Manor, was charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony.

Police said they received a report Dec. 10 from Lowe's that said an employee had been stealing property.

Santiago was identified as the person who took more than $4,000 worth of merchandise between Oct. 3 to Oct. 29, police said.

He voluntarily appeared at police headquarters Thursday where he was placed under arrest.

Santiago was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court Feb. 4.
