UPDATE Somers, Yorktown, Lakeland Schools Change Schedules
Putnam-Northern Westchester BOCES will be closed.

Students attending Lakeland schools will be heading home early on Monday, after district officials announced school will be dismissed early Monday due to the impending blizzard.
Somers and Yorktown schools are closed.
The NWS upgraded its forecast for Yorktown, Somers and Cortlandt to a blizzard warning, with predictions of snow beginning Monday and increasing in intensity.

Somers: High School 10:30AM, Primrose 11AM, Mid 11:30AM, Intermediate 12AM

Lakeland: In anticipation of bad weather, Lakeland Schools will dismiss early on Monday January 26, 2015. High schools at 10:15; Elementary schools at 11:15; middle school at 12:15.
Yorktown: The Yorktown Schools will be on an early dismissal schedule for Monday January 26. A call will be sent out at 5:00 am Monday to either detail the dismissal schedule or notify parents of a closure of all schools.
We will be evaluating the timing of the storm with the latest forecasts in the morning. Our bus system requires 3 1/2 hours to complete. If we cannot be assured that every student will be home before the beginning of the snow event, we will close schools.
