Yorktown and Somers Natives Honored by SUNY Oswego

From SUNY Oswego:

Several area students at SUNY Oswego achieved Dean's List recognition for earning a grade point average of 3.3 to 3.79 in spring 2016.

• Ryan B. Korn of Mitchell Road in Somers, a senior majoring in operations management and information systems

• Savannah Perez of Bonnie Court in Yorktown Heights, a senior majoring in human development

• Elena A. Semenza of Overhill Road in Yorktown Heights, a senior majoring in public relations

• Colin J. Sickles of Granville Court in Yorktown Heights, a senior majoring in operations management and information systems

• Alec J. Zuch of Adela Court in Yorktown Heights, a senior majoring in meteorology

Oswego students earning a GPA of 3.8 to 4.0 were recognized on the college's President's List.

Admission to SUNY Oswego is competitive. U.S. News Media Group counts SUNY Oswego among the top public regional universities in the North for 2016, and the Princeton Review includes Oswego in its 2016 college guidebook "The Best Northeastern Colleges" and in its national list of "Green Colleges."
