• RRPD-led 'Operation Spring Cleaning' nets arrests, drug and firearm seizures (rrdailyherald.com) — Ahoskie Police officers joined a large multi-agency “Operation Spring Cleaning” traffic saturation effort led by Roanoke Rapids Police on May 8, targeting impaired driving, illegal guns, and drugs. The operation produced 187 traffic stops, seven arrests, multiple drug and firearm seizures, and several warrants served, with organizers promising similar enforcement actions around the region throughout the year.
