• ECU Health expands summer meal plans for kids with three new locations (witn.com) — Families in Ahoskie can now access free weekday summer meals for kids through ECU Health’s expanded program, running Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Community sites in Ahoskie and five other Eastern Carolina towns will serve healthy lunches, continuing a regional effort that provided more than 4,500 meals last year.
