• Charges secured for four suspects in connection with retail theft investigation involving LEGO merchandise in Chesapeake (wavy.com) — Chesapeake police have secured 27 felony and misdemeanor charges against four suspects after recovering thousands of dollars in allegedly stolen LEGO sets from a Portsmouth Boulevard retailer, a Greenbrier incident, and a local rental property. Investigators say the group is tied to two late-August thefts totaling more than $6,000 in merchandise, and the case remains active with the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.
