Residents at the May 5 board meeting were divided, with some urging patience until court cases conclude and others calling for his resignation and warning about the cost of a drawnâout removal effort.

Rep. Bryan Cohn and candidate Curtis McRae heard frustrations over long bus rides, maintenance issues, stalled state budgets, and school vouchers, urging residents to stay civically engaged to protect local schools.
