• Company buys Ashley Plaza for $16.6M (newsargus.com) — Ashley Plaza on North Berkeley Boulevard in Goldsboro has been sold for $16.6 million to HPX Goldsboro Ashley Center LLC, part of New York-based Hidrock Properties. The new owner cites Goldsboro's strong retail corridor and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base's economic impact as key draws. Current tenants like Hobby Lobby, Planet Fitness and others are expected to remain, continuing service to local shoppers.

- I think there's so so many people dropping their kids off at school because the bus system has gotten so unreliable.
