• Teen boy drowns in Falls Lake, sheriff's office says (newsnationnow.com) — Emergency crews from Wake Forest and across Wake County recovered the body of a 16-year-old boy who drowned Monday in Falls Lake near Creedmoor Road. Local firefighters, EMS, and volunteers joined an hours-long search after the teen went underwater and did not resurface, and authorities say they do not expect to release additional details about the tragedy.
