• Bernice Stamper, 78 of Stout (sciotocountydailynews.com) — A Stout family is mourning the loss of Bernice "Christine" Stamper, who was born in Portsmouth and spent her life caring for others as a home health aide. Her children and grandson will hold private services, with burial in Vaughters Cemetery and arrangements handled through Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. 
• Vicky K. Adkins, 77 of Wheelersburg (sciotocountydailynews.com) — A Wheelersburg family is remembering Vicky K. Adkins, who was born in Portsmouth and passed away at SOMC Hospice there. Survived by her husband, son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, she was laid to rest in a private graveside service at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky, with arrangements by Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home.
