- The Washington County Sheriff's Office and Hillsboro Police Department worked together to thwart criminal activity across two cities.
13 Elk Killed On Highway 26; Banks Man Uninjured In Crash
- James Childers III was unhurt after driving his Chevy Avalanche through at least 13 elk crossing the highway east of Banks early Thursday.
U-Haul Employee Shoots, Kills Armed Robber: Portland Police
- Just before 7 p.m. Jan. 3, an armed robber reportedly entered the U-Haul dealer on SE Powell Blvd. and demanded money. Instead, he got shot.
Lucky Rooster Robbed; White Male Suspect Sought
- The Dec. 30 armed robbery occurred around 8:30 p.m., police said. The suspect is considered dangerous.
Stranger Danger: Child Offered Toys, Ride Home In White Van
- The child was walking home from school when the van — a tarp covering the back windows — approached, driven by a white man with a beard.

Sandy Man Killed In Hit And Run On Highway 26, Police Say
- Jay Bradshaw, 61, was reportedly struck and killed while he walked along Highway 26 around 9 p.m. Tuesday. No suspects have been identified.
Fireplace Ignites Beaverton Apartment; Displaces Mother, Daughter

- The women also lost their pet dog in the apartment fire, authorities said.
4 Young Girls Molested By Portland Man, Beaverton Police Say
- The girls, all between 10 and 15 years old, were allegedly molested by 32-year-old Fernando Lugo-Gongora between May 2014 and August 2016.
- Beaverton, Tigard, Portland, and Washington County's law enforcement agencies are involved in the apparent 2-month-long serial robber case.
Service Dogs Burgled From Portland Apartment: Police
- Crystal Decker reported 2 service dogs stolen on Jan. 1, though she reportedly believes they were taken the night before.
- Police say Matthew Manley, 42, was crabbing near the Seaside Estuary before he was reported missing Monday afternoon.
