OregonStandoff Latest: Two Days After Appealing to Higher Court, Ammon Bundy Restates Faith in Higher Power

Ammon Bundy releases new audio statement.

"I know the Lord will show his hand," Ammond Bundy says in a new statement from prison.

"Each time the adversary presses my soul to the point of utter despair, the Lord sustains me."

The new statement comes two days after Bundy, his brother Ryan, and two co-defendants, Brian Cavalier and Ryan Payne, filed notice that they intend to appeal an order sending them to Nevada.

The four - along with Blaine Cooper, who could still join them - face federal charges in both Oregon and Nevada.

In Oregon, the charges stem from the 41-day armed occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.

In Nevada, they are charged in connection with the 2014 armed standoff with federal agents.

Nevada wants them transported there to face arraignment and trial.

The defendants argue they should be allowed to fight one set of charges at a time.

Last week Federal Judge Anna Brown ordered that they could be transported to Nevada on April 13 and returned to Oregon on April 25.

In his message, Bundy thanked his supporters and talked about how "difficult on us" being jail has been.

"We are family men not criminals," he said, adding that "being held from our lovely wives and not having our children climbing on us each day" has been very hard.
