2. A 2-year-old Pennsylvania girl was struck and killed Thursday morning by a vehicle driven by a parent, police said. First responders found the girl with severe injuries at the end of a driveway; she was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead. (Read more on Patch.)
3. Officials said two people died in a fiery head-on crash early Thursday in a construction zone on Interstate 79 near Pittsburgh. Pennsylvania State Police said that a tractor-trailer was one of the three vehicles involved. The crash closed both lanes of I-79 for hours. (Read more on Patch.)

4. A 15-year-old boy was arrested last week, after Montgomery County authorities said he stole a pickup truck and went "on the run." Police said they found the teenager asleep inside the stolen vehicle. 5. A Pennsylvania man faces numerous charges, after officials said he fired shots near officers during a standoff and assaulted a woman using a bicycle and a fish tank.
