Burglar Hits Lower Merion Home Over Weekend: Police
Since April 28, eight burglaries in the township have been reported by police.

MERION, PA – Another Lower Merion Township home has been burglarized, according to township police. This marks the eighth reported residential burglary in the township since late April.
Police said a home on the 100 block of North Highland Avenue in Merion was burglarized over the weekend.
The burglary occurred between Friday, May 26, and Sunday, May 28, police said.

Police said the suspect got inside the residence through an unlocked first floor window.
When inside, the suspect or suspects ransacked a bedroom and the dining room, police said.

Just last week, police reported a man came home at 3 a.m. to a burglar in his apartment.
In late April, Zion Baptist Church was burglarized and cash was stolen.
An Ardmore Avenue residence was burglarized May 6 when computer, tablet, cash, and jewelry was stolen from the residence.
Three homes were hit by burglars in five days between May 11 and May 16.
A Wynnewood residence was burgled during the daytime hours of May 17 and cash was stolen.
