Two Burglaries Reported in Bala Cynwyd: Lower Merion Police
The township has been plagued by burglaries recently, unfortunately.

BALA CYNWYD, PA – Lower Merion Township Police are reporting two burglaries that occurred in Bala Cynwyd recently. One occurred between May 25 and May 30 while the other occurred May 30, police said.
The newest reports bring the number of burglaries in the township since April 28 to 10.
According to police, the burglary that took place between May 25 and May 30 occurred at a business in Bala Plaza 1 at 231 Asaphs Road in Bala Cynwyd.

Police said after forcing a door open, the suspect took cash from inside the business.
The May 30 burglary took place at about 1 p.m. at a residence on the 100 block of Righters Ferry Road in Bala Cynwyd, police said.

The suspect or suspects get inside the home by breaking a sliding glass door, police said.
When inside, the suspects stole watches, police said.
The list of burglaries in the township continues to grow.
Most recently a home on the 100 block of North Highland Avenue was burglarized between May 26 and May 28 in Ardmore.
Last week, police reported a man came home at 3 a.m. to a burglar in his apartment on May 23.
A Wynnewood residence was burgled during the daytime hours of May 17 and cash was stolen.
Three homes were hit by burglars in five days between May 11 and May 16.
An Ardmore Avenue residence was burglarized May 6 when computer, tablet, cash, and jewelry was stolen from the residence.
In late April, Zion Baptist Church was burglarized and cash was stolen.
