1. Doylestown Among ‘Snobbiest’ Towns in Pennsylvania, Ranking Shows (Sept. 24)

According to roadsnacks.net, Doylestown is the sixth most “snobbiest” town in Pennsylvania, just behind towns like Blue Bell, Paoli, Collegeville and Swarthmore.

2. Pa. Firefighter Asked To Take Down American Flag On Sept. 11 (Sept. 12)

Zach Zechman, a senior at Alvernia University, said school officials asked him to remove the flag from his dorm window on Sept. 11.

3. $6M Worth Of Cocaine Found In Pumpkin Shipment At Port Of Philadelphia (Sept. 23)

Officials described it as “one of the largest shipments of drugs found coming into the Port of Philadelphia in years.”

4. Starbucks To Police Officer Banned From Bathroom: ‘We’re Sorry’ (Sept. 14)

Some called for a boycott of Starbucks after a barista in Philly denied a police officer access to the shop’s bathroom

5. Man Killed In Montco Home Invasion (Sept. 28)

The incident was reported on Philmont Avenue in Lower Moreland around 11:10 p.m., the Montgomery County District Attorney said.

6. Penn State Canner Killed, 6 Injured On PA Turnpike (Sept. 28)

A Penn State student died and six others were injured after a one-car crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

7. Pa. Mom Sues Amazon.com, UPenn Over Daughter’s Suicide (Sept. 4)

The Penn School of Nursing was “hostile” and “vindictive” to the struggling student, and Amazon provided the lethal pills, the suit alleges.
