New Steakhouse Seeks Liquor License Of Closed Rt. 611 Bertucci's
A steakhouse is seeking a liquor license transfer from the closed Rt. 611 Bertucci's so it can open a Newtown Township location.

WARRINGTON, PA — Officials will be reviewing a liquor license transfer request from the former Bertucci's on Rt. 611 to a new steakhouse in Newtown Township.
Steak Bar by Shula's is seeking to transfer the liquor license from Warrington to Newtown Township, according to Micah Lewis, the township manager in Newtown. The Bertucci's in Warrington closed earlier this year, after the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors will review an application for the transfer Wednesday.

If approved, Steak Bar by Shula's will still need conditional use approval, Lewis said. No application has been submitted yet.
