Utility Work, Water Main Break Reported In Doylestown Twp., Doylestown Borough

Verizon is replacing a utility pole, which township police said could take three to four hours to complete.

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Drivers are being asked to avoid using Sandy Ridge Road in Doylestown Township due to utility work.

The Doylestown Township Police Department reports that Verizon is on location Wednesday morning between Limekiln Road and Buttonwood Lane, working to replace a utility pole.

"They will be working in the area for the next three to four hours," police said. "Please avoid the area if possible as the road may be closed for periods of time," police said.

Water Main Break Reported

In Doylestown Borough, a water main break is being reported Wednesday morning at the intersection of North and East streets. Repair crews are on site working to resolve the issue.
