Cocaine, Rifle, Bulletproof Vest Seized In Delco Busts: DA
Two men are behind bars after busts that led to more than 300 grams of cocaine, a rifle, ammo, and a bulletproof vest being seized.

CHESTER, PA — Two busts in Delaware County led authorities to seize drugs, a rifle, ammunition, a bulletproof vest, and more, according to the district attorney's office.
Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said Monday that two Chester men have been
arrested and as part of the arrests more than 300 grams of cocaine have been seized.
Queni Martinez, 38, and Germaine Glover, 43, both of Chester, were arrested separately last week, the DA's office said. Martines was arrested Jan. 22 and Glover was arrested Jan. 20. Bot are charged with manufacture of a controlled substance, possession of controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia

According to the DA's office Martinez was arrested with approximately 297 grams of cocaine and Glover was arrested with 22 grans of cocaine.
The men were taken into custody as a result of the work of the Delaware County Drug Task Force and the Chester Narcotics Unit.

On Friday, Jan. 22, Chester Police Officer John Benozich, accompanied by members of the
Chester Narcotics Unit and the Delaware County Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at
606 E. Eighth St. in Chester.
The target of the investigation, Martinez, was located in a vehicle parked outside the residence, and he directed officers to an abandoned vehicle parked next to the residence. Officers recovered approximately 295 grams of suspected cocaine broken down into different quantities for street sales, the DA's office said. According to authorities, the cocaine was hidden in different parts of the vehicle, and canine units were used to assist in the search.
The suspected cocaine was subsequently tested and confirmed to be cocaine. In addition to the drugs, officers recovered a multi-caliber rifle and ammunition, a bulletproof vest, a police scanner, and cash.
And on Wednesday, Jan. 20, members of the Delaware County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 3201 W. Third St. in Chester City. Three individuals were in the residence at the time of the search.
Glover stated that the other individuals had nothing to do with any contraband found on the premises, the DA's office said. A total of 21 grams of cocaine were recovered, as well as a digital scale with cocaine residue. In October 2020 a search warrant had been executed at the same location and law enforcement recovered cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Glover was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver at that time, and was awaiting his court date at the time of his subsequent arrest.
Martinez was arraigned and bail was set at 10 percent of $50,000 and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 16. Glover was arraigned and bail was set at 10 percent of $25,000.
Both were remanded to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility.
