Haverford Crime Blotter: Assault, Theft, DUI, More

Police reported three thefts from vehicles that were parked at the Haverford Dog Park earlier this week. See full blotter details here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued crime blotters for two weeks recently.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Dec. 8 and Dec. 14.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

  • Theft at the 500 block of Covington Road on Dec. 8 at 11:36 a.m. – Two leaf blowers and a chainsaw were stolen from the victim’s shed.
  • Theft at Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Dec. 9 at 5:47 p.m. – Victim reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse while she was shopping. $1,500 worth of unauthorized purchases were made with her credit cards.
  • Identity Theft at the 1700 block of Robinson Avenue on Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. – Victim reported that someone attempted to open a credit card account using her identity.
  • Fraud at the unit block of Orchard Road on Dec. 10 at 12:55 p.m. – The victim responded to a Facebook post in reference to dog training classes at the CREC. The victim sent a Venmo payment to the publisher of the post and then was unable to make contact with them. She then contacted the CREC staff and they advised her that they do not offer any dog training classes.
  • Theft at the Haverford Reserve, 9000 block of Parkview Drive on Dec. 11 at 5:11 p.m. – Vehicle window was smashed; purse was stolen.
  • Theft at Panera, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Dec. 12 at 5:18 p.m. – Victim reported that someone removed her purse from her table while she went to the counter. She attempted to chase the actor and a female stepped in front of her blocking her path. The 49-year-old female was charged with theft by unlawful taking and possession of a controlled substance.
  • Theft at Haverford Dog Park, 9000 block of Parkview Drive, on Dec. 12 at 12:20 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered; purse was stolen.
  • Theft at the Haverford Dog Park, 9000 block of Parkview Drive, on Dec. 12 at 12:37 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered; purse was stolen.
  • Vandalism at the 200 block of Rodney Circle on Dec. 12 at 8:34 a.m. – Christmas lights were cut.
  • Theft at the Haverford CREC, 9000 block of Parkview Drive, on Dec. 13 at 10:37 a.m. – Vehicle was entered; purse was stolen.
  • Theft at the Haverford Dog Park, 9000 block of Parkview Road, on Dec. 13 at 12:47 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered; a wallet was stolen.
  • Fraud at the 200 block of James Drive on Dec. 13 at 11:12 a.m. – Victim reported that someone changed his routing number for his unemployment direct deposit.
  • Fraud at the 600 block of Merion Avenue on Dec. 13 at 4 p.m. – Victim reported that someone gained access into her Walmart account and made $153.57 worth of purchases.
  • Theft at the unit block of Woodbine Road on Dec. 14 at 3:06 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered; loose change was stolen.
  • Fraud at the 2400 block of Merwood Lane on Dec. 14 at 8:56 a.m. – Victim reported that someone gained access to her Amazon account and purchased two pairs of Air pods.

ARRESTS

  • 28-year-old male, unit block of Brookline Boulevard. Charges: Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: Brookline parking lot, unit block of Brookline Boulevard. Date: Dec. 3 at 6:41 p.m.
  • 26-year-old female, 200 block of Weatherhill Drive, West Chester. Charges: DUI, accidents involving unattended vehicle and disregard traffic lane. Location: Ardmore Avenue and Glenbrook Road. Date: Dec. 5 at 9:46 p.m.
  • 28-year-old male, unit block of Brookline Bouevard, Havertown. Charges: Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: Brookline Lot, unit block of Brookline Boulevard. Date: Dec. 3 at 6:41 p.m.
  • 21-year-old male, 400 block of Glendale Road, Havertown. Charges: Assault of law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct. Location: Haverford Hills, 400 block of Glendale Road. Date: Dec. 8 at 8:50 p.m.
