Incidents in the blotter occurred between Aug. 4 and Aug. 10.

- Identity Theft – Four residents reported that someone used their identity to file for unemployment benefits.
- Theft from Vehicle at Haverford Hill Condominiums, 400 block of Glendale Road, on Aug. 4 at 1:13 p.m. – the facilities director for CADES, Children & Adult Disability & Education Services, reported that a catalytic converter were taken from two of their buses.
- Theft in the 800 block of Powder Mill Lane on Aug. 7 at 11:20 a.m. – victim states that two planters were taken.
- Theft in the 1000 block of Remington Road on Aug. 7 at 9:08 p.m. – victim states that a package was taken from her front porch.
- Fraud in the 600 block of Wynnewood Road on Aug. 7 at 12:11 p.m. – victim states that an unknown person took a large amount of money from his bank account; all accounts have been closed.
- Theft from Vehicle in the 1800 block of Windsor Park Lane on Aug. 8 at 10:15 a.m. – victim states that apple air pods and loose change were taken out of his vehicle; vehicle was parked in his driveway.
- Theft from Vehicle in the 200 block of Glen Gary Drive on Aug. 8 at 1:57 p.m. – victim states that loose change was taken from his vehicle; vehicle was parked in his driveway.
- Motor Vehicle Theft in the 2900 block of Rising Sun Road on Aug. 8 at 3:08 p.m. – victim states that his 2012 Chrysler Town & County was taken; investigation is ongoing.
- Identity Theft in the 200 block of Lone Oak Drive on Aug. 8 at 10:13 a.m. – victim states that an account was opened in her name.
- Burglary at St. Faith Preschool and Kindergarten, 1200 block of Allston Road, on Aug. 9 at 8 a.m. – a worker states that she arrived to her workplace and came across an open door; basement floors were sticky and refrigerator was emptied out.
- Fraud in the unit block of Garlor Drive on Aug. 9 at 9:30 a.m. – victim states that she fell victim to a gift card scam; large amount of money was taken.
- Bicycle Theft at Haverford High School, 200 block of Mill Road, on Aug. 10 at 9 p.m.
- Theft at McDonald’s, 1200 block of West Chester Pike, on Aug. 10 at 8:36 a.m. – victim states that her watch was taken her mailbox; investigation is ongoing.
- Theft at Bryn Mawr Extended Care, 900 block of Railroad Road, on Aug. 10 at 1:31 a.m. – victim states that her wallet was taken from her pocketbook.
- Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Aug. 10 at 3:24 p.m. – victim stated he left his bag in the shopping in the parking lot at the above location; his bag containing several items was missing upon his return.
ARRESTS:
- 35-year-old male, 1400 block of Westwood Lane, Wynnewood. Charges: DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: Aug. 4 at 5:48 p.m.
- 44-year-old male, 700 block of Buck Lane, Haverford. Charges: DUI, Careless Driving, and Trespass by Motor Vehicle. Location: unit block Scarlett Oak Drive. Date: Aug. 6 at 6:18 p.m.
