HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime blotter recently.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Jan. 6 and Jan. 12.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

INCIDENTS:

  • Burglary at the 400 block of Langhorne Avenue on Jan. 6 at 7:17 p.m. – Victim reported that a person known to him entered his residence and ransacked it. Two laptops, television, headphones, ratchet set and a bag of clothes was reported missing.
  • Theft at the 1800 block of Rose Tree Lane on Jan. 6 at 9:30 a.m. – American flag was stolen from the front porch.
  • Identity Theft at the 100 block of Wilson Avenue on Jan. 8 at 7:46 p.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a Citibank account using her identity.
  • Identity Theft at the 2300 block of Avon Road on Jan. 9 at 11:13 a.m. – Someone filed for unemployment benefits using the victim’s identity.
  • Criminal Mischief at the unit block of Waverly Road on Jan. 9 at 9:47 p.m. – Glass pane on the basement door was broken. It does not appear that entry was gained.
  • Theft at the 100 block of Lee Circle on Jan. 10 at 5 p.m. – Victim reported that her address book was stolen.
  • Vandalism at County Line Road and Aubrey Avenue on Jan. 10 at 9:10 hours – Vehicle side mirror was damaged.
  • Vandalism at the 300 block of Campbell Avenue on Jan. 10 at 12:48 p.m. – Vehicle was keyed.
  • Retail Theft at Acme, 600 block of Lancaster Avenue, on Jan. 11 at 7:39 p.m. – An unknown male stole $47 worth of lamb chops.
  • Identity Theft at the 1500 block of Melrose on Jan. 11 at 10:19 a.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a Green Dot credit card using his identity and made a $915 purchase.
  • Theft at the Quadrangle, 3300 block of Darby Road, on Jan. 12 at 5:30 p.m. – Catalytic converter and exhaust piping was stolen from a vehicle.

ARRESTS:

  • 59-year-old male, 200 block of 49th Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: Dec. 31 at 5:25 p.m.
  • 46-year-old male, 1200 block of Elm Street, Reading. Charges: Retail Theft. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: Jan. 8 at 12:55 p.m.
  • 56-year-old male, 7400 block of Sunshine Road, Upper Darby. Charges: Warrant. Location: Chestnut Avenue and Roland Road. Date: Jan. 8 at 7:18 p.m.
  • 34-year-old male, 900 block of Edgewood Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI, careless driving, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: 1000 block of Darby Road. Date: Jan. 9 at 10:14 p.m.
  • 37-year-old male, 1300 block of Airy Street, Norristown. Charges: DUI, careless driving and suspended driver’s license. Location: 100 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Jan. 11 at 2:28 p.m.
