HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime blotter Wednesday.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Dec. 16 and Dec. 22.

  • Vandalism at the 600 block of Georges Lane on Dec. 16 at 12:53 p.m. – Vehicle tire was flattened.
  • Theft at the 2700 block of Chestnut Street on Dec. 17 at 6:27 p.m. – Victim reported that her neighbor observed an unknown male steal a package from her porch.
  • Theft at the 100 block of Woodbine Road on Dec. 18 at 6:54 p.m. – Victim reported that approximately $4,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from her bedroom.
  • Counterfeiting at Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Dec. 18 at 8:04 p.m. – An unknown male passed a counterfeit 20 bill for a gift card purchase.
  • Vandalism at the 1300 block of Dermond Road on Dec. 21 at 8:47 a.m. – Christmas lights were damaged.
  • Public Drunkenness at the 2300 block of Haverford Road on Dec. 22 at 6:26 p.m. – 59-year-old male, 2300 block of Haverford Road, was cited for public drunkenness

ARRESTS:

  • 58-year-old male, 100 block of Old Kennett Road, Greenville. Charges: Simple assault and strangulation. Location: 800 block of Dover Road. Date: Dec. 18 at 10:31 a.m.
  • 35-year-old male, unit block of Grant Avenue, Havertown. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: 100 block of West Eagle Road. Date: Dec. 18 at 10:59 p.m.
