HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township released their weekly crime blotter Wednesday.
The blotter features incidents that occurred between Aug. 11 and Aug. 17.
It also features arrests made and citations issued.

- Identity Theft - 3 residents reported that someone used their identity to file for unemployment benefits.
- Criminal Mischief at Veteran’s Field, unit block of West Manoa Road, on Aug. 11 at 12:03 p.m. – an unknown person drew graffiti on the dugout.
- Motor Vehicle Theft in the 1800 block of Windsor Park Lane on Aug. 13 at 6:47 p.m. – victim states that his vehicle was stolen out of his driveway, possible unsecured; vehicle has been found.
- Identity Theft in 200 block of Pine Ridge Road on Aug. 13 at 1:40 p.m. – victim states that two bank accounts were opened in her name by an unknown user.
- Criminal Mischief in the unit block of College Avenue on Aug. 13 at 1:52 p.m. – victims’ mailbox was damaged by a construction vehicle.
- Criminal Mischief at the Haverford Middle School, 1700 block of Darby Road, on Aug. 13 at 9:45 p.m. – the door frame was removed from the blue ticket shed; trash scattered throughout the interior of the shed.
- Fraud in the 900 block of Woodland Avenue on Aug. 14 at 3:25 p.m. – victim states that an unauthorized person cashed a missing check from her checkbook; investigation ongoing.
- Vandalism in the 100 block of Fawn Lane on Aug. 14 at 11:55 a.m. – victim states that his mailbox was crushed, possibly by a baseball bat, sometime overnight.
- Vandalism in the 400 block of College Avenue on Aug. 14 at 8:41 a.m. - victim states that his mailbox was crushed, possibly by a baseball bat, sometime overnight.
- Fraud in the 100 block of Washington Avenue on Aug. 16 at 5:19 p.m. – victim states that unknown person opened a credit card using his information.
- Identity Theft in the unit block of Oak Lane on Aug. 16 at 12:42 p.m. – victim states that she was notified by social security that an unknown person was trying to change her direct deposit; no monetary loss occurred.
- Identity Theft in the 200 block of Valley Ridge Road on Aug. 17 at 6:52 p.m. – victim states that an unauthorized person made a purchase at Apple using her credit card.
- Vandalism in the 9000 block of Parkview Road on Aug. 17 at 10:20 a.m. – golf disc course has graffiti on the turf.
ARRESTS:
- 27-year-old male, 700 clock of Battle Drive, Maryland. Charges: Retail Theft, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: Aug. 12 at 8:22 a.m.
- 28-year-old male, 100 block of North 20th Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail Theft, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road. Date: Aug. 12 at 8:22 a.m.
- 63-year-old male, 3800 block of Plumstead Avenue, Drexel Hill. Charges: DUI. Location: Darby Road and West Chester Pike. Date: Aug. 16 at 8:45 p.m.
