Haverford Crime Blotter: Fraud, Theft, Criminal Mischief, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township released their weekly crime blotter Thursday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Sept. 22 and Sept. 28.
The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

- Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Sept. 22 at 4:54 p.m. – Two unknown suspects stole $2,080 worth of merchandise and fled the store.
- Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 23 at 3:56 p.m. – Victim reported that his cell phone was stolen from his shopping cart while he shopped.
- Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 24 at 5:05 p.m. – An unknown male stole an Eagles shirt.
- Identity Theft at the 1600 block of Winton Avenue on Sept. 24 at 11:05 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to make two unauthorized withdraws from his bank account.
- Vandalism at the 100 block of Landover Road on Sept. 24 at 12:27 p.m. – Vehicle rear windshield was damaged.
- Criminal Mischief at the 1200 block of Manor Road on Sept. 25 at 11:17 p.m. – A group of juveniles threw beer cans on the victim’s lawn.
- Identity Theft at the 2800 block of Haverford Road on Sept. 26 at 5:06 p.m. – Victim reported that someone attempted to cash a check using his identity.
- Theft at the 3100 block of West Darby Road on Sept. 27 at 7:59 a.m. – Approximately $3,000 worth of tools was stolen from a truck.
- Fraud at the 1600 block of Winton Avenue on Sept. 27 at 2:07 p.m. – Victim reported that her unemployment banking information was changed without her knowledge.
- Fraud at Rick’s Plumbing and Heating, 1200 block of Darby Road, on Sept. 27 at 10:57 a.m. – Victim reported that a person known to him made numerous unauthorized purchases with the business credit card.
- Identity Theft at the 600 block of Country Club Lane on Sept. 27 at 9:25 a.m. – Eight Unauthorized purchases were made through the victim’s Grub Hub account.
- Criminal Mischief at the unit block of Ralston Avenue on Sept. 27 at 5:52 p.m. – Vehicle window was broken.
- Theft at Llanerch Country Club, 900 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 28 at 4:36 p.m. – Forced entry was made in a vehicle – two credit cards were stolen.
- Theft at the 2500 block of E. County Line Road on Sept. 28 at 7:29 p.m. – License plate was stolen from a vehicle.
- Identity Theft at the 2100 block of Chestnut Avenue on Sept. 28 at 4:39 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
ARRESTS
- 28-year-old male, 6300 block of Sherman Street, Philadelphia. Charges: DUI and possession of marijuana. Location: 1100 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 17 at 9:30 p.m.
- 27-year-old male, unit block of North Pennock Avenue, Upper Darby. Charges: DUI and possession of marijuana. Location: 1100 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 17 at 10:35 p.m.
- 35-year-old female, 3000 block of Ringgold Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct and harassment. Location: 9000 block of Parkview Drive. Date: Sept. 28 at 9:30 hours (incident occurred on July 6)
- 20-year-old male, 900 block of North 50th Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and retail theft. Location: Havertown Bicycle Shop, 2000 block of Darby Road. Date: Sept. 28 at 2:30 p.m.
- 30-year-old male, 4300 block of Penn Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 28 at 3:15 p.m.
