Haverford Crime Blotter: Fraud, Vandalism, Theft, More
Police said several small American flags were broken at Annunciation Church last week. See details on this and more incidents here.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township have released their most recent crime blotter.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Sept. 1 and Sept. 7.
The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

- Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 1 at 3:50 p.m. – An unknown male and female stole over $2,000 worth of merchandise.
- Theft at the 700 block of Loraine Street on Sept. 1 at 1:32 p.m. – Catalytic Converter was stolen from a vehicle.
- Bicycle Theft at the Haverford Middle School, 1700 block of Darby Road, on Sept. 2 at 2:45 p.m.
- Fraud at the unit block of Columbus Avenue on Sept. 2 at 4:45 p.m. – Victim reported that an unauthorized transfer was made from her checking account to an unknown Zelle account.
- Fraud at the unit block of West Manoa Road on Sept. 2 at 6:16 p.m. – Victim reported eleven unauthorized transactions were made from her checking account. All of the withdraws were done through the Zelle app.
- Identity Theft at the 100 block of Harvard Road on Sept. 2 at 4:19 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
- Theft at Llanerch Country Club, 900 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 3 at 5:20 p.m. – Vehicle was entered – a wallet was stolen. An unauthorized purchase was made with one of the credit cards and two other transactions were attempted.
- Theft at the unit block of Derwen Drive on Sept. 4 at 3:23 p.m. – Jewelry was reported missing from the residence.
- Fraud at the 100 block of Farwood Road on Sept. 4 at 9:24 a.m. - Victim reported that she placed a check in the mail for $300 to pay a credit card bill. She discovered that the check had been altered to the amount of $3,064 and made out to an unknown person.
- Fraud at the 500 block of Haverford Court on Sept. 4 at 10:59 a.m. – A person claiming to be from Apple Support gained access to the victims bank account and withdrew approximately $30,000.
- Identity Theft at the 200 block of Glendale Road on Sept. 4 at 7:15 p.m. – Victim reported that someone opened an unemployment claim using his identity.
- Criminal Mischief at Annunciation Church, 400 block of Brookline Boulevard, on Sept. 4 at 12:15 p.m. – Several small American flags were broken and a large flower planter and a bench were moved.
- Criminal Mischief at the 1800 block of Earlington Road on Sept. 5 at 10:08 a.m. – Vehicle windshield was smashed out.
- Theft at the 100 block of Ralston Avenue on Sept. 6 at 12:36 p.m. – Victim reported that a $4,000 check was forged and cashed.
- Theft at the 100 block of Ivy Rock Lane on Sept. 6 at 1 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, various credit cards were stolen.
- Disorderly Conduct at the 200 block of East Eagle Road on Sept. 6 at 10:03 p.m. – The victim reported that she was egged by a group of males.
- Disorderly Conduct at Eagle and Clover Roads on Sept. 7 at 8:40 p.m. – a group of juvenile females were egged by juvenile males.
ARRESTS:
- 39-year-old male, unit block of West Chester Pike, Havertown. Charges: Aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, harassment, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: unit block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 5 at 6:15 p.m.
